Design

I reached a turning point here. At this stage of the build I decided that simply hacking together metal wasn't my thing. I got a draftsperson to show me how to use AutoCad for about 4 hours. (Thanks Mark!) Then I spent the next 3 weeks designing "New Cruelty" in 3D model space. Every weight and part was evaluated. All robot combat tapes and media I could get my hands on were evaluated.

The result was the new design for "New Cruelty".

I should mention here that the available "Cad" drawing for the motors I am using is *WRONG* but here it is anyway PDF. My Cad drawing for the motor is correct and in 3D. I generated a PDF of my AutoCad Drawing. (Scroll down once the file opens)

I also generated a 3D wire frame version of New Cruelty on the Cad. The PDF is worth a look. (Scroll down once the file opens).
