Ever since the BB4 tournament dates have been annouced the guys have been reviewing the rules - contemplating possible travel plans.... All I can say right now is there's NO question Dick and New Cruelty will be there! Seems like Cliff, Eric and Mike are still trying to figure out if and how they're going. In my opinion that is one thing about BB that's a pain - and that's the distance of the competition and the duration of time you have to be there (off of work) if you're a rookie and winning. *shrugs* Not that being in a winning position is a bad thing mind you! ha!

We got together one last time @ Pro Players last night to cheer on New Cruelty! It was cool to see the segment they did on Bot Country!

You know, I've heard comments from some people about, "Gee, why doesn't Dick smile during interviews?" Hmmm... I was thinking about that. I came up w/a variety of reasons. I won't share them all, but my favorite is this: Would you REALLY expect to see a grinning (and or silly) builder & driver of a nearly 340 pound combat robot?

New Cruelty is a serious bot - built and driven by a serious competitor. He does smile - just not on TV (ok, and not often in photos either....LOL)!

WE ARE THRILLED!!!! We got together tonight (ok, technically it was last night) with other friends to watch the show(s) - It was SWEET to see New Cruelty sleekly performing as we all anticipated. Of course I'm only speaking for myself here.... but when Dick went out to Treasure Island - I was hoping to see NC make it to the TV rounds - so as of right now - I'm DELIRIOUS (in addition to thrilled, of course)!

Happy New Year kids! We thought it would be forever from November 20th till now! BB 4.0 premieres tonight! We're all getting together at Mike's house to watch the show and talk some trash! And Eric is telling us he might bring Thunderbolt over for a spin prior to the show! That would be sweet!

Dick's been busy with another bot - Bad Blood... hmmmm - we're looking forward to some build updates!

TCMechwars III is the 19th & 20th (National Guard armory, 600 Cedar St., Downtown St Paul, MN) and we're all ready to go!

Well Dick and New Cruelty are back safe and sound from Treasure Island... OK, so New Cruelty has a few battle scars and Dick is already planning for new modifications. Stayed tuned for the upcoming Version 4.0 of BattleBots!

Get packed up and go to the Twin Cities Friday August 31 - September 2nd!!! Why? Because you can check out the Killerbotics team and their sweet bots at the Minnesota State Fair! They'll be there participating in the TC Mech Wars exhibition. That means you'll likely also get to see them compete in October at TC Mech Wars III.


The guys were goosed during a build party last week! Amy the goose was having fun with Dick's shoe (poor girl must not have a sense of smell)!


Speaking of smells.... air quality is a recent concern of Killerbotics as they conspire and aspire to compete internal combustion engine bots. No easy feat considering the regulatory and governmental hoops to jump through regarding indoor competion.

Rumors have it that we don't have a build update from Mike & No Bull because he's painted the bot pink! (Yeah, girl power)!

Hmmmm it's the middle of July and rumors are rumbling about chain saws and battle arenas... and what about TC Mechwars during the Minnesota State Fair?
*raises eyebrows*

Though, perhaps the boys are too busy comparing weld burns. We'll have to see.

Oh, and of course, Dick has been working on revisions to New Cruelty.

And Eric has been making progress with Boomerang!

Now if only Mystery Mike would give us some information! *grins*
